Students are responsible for retrieving any missed work. Students can use my website or BLEND to retrieve missing work, in addition to the missing work crate in our classroom. Late work (missing work not resulting from an excused absence) will receive 10% off the first day late, 20% off the 2nd day late, 30% off the 3rd day late, and 50% off from there forward. Work that is late more than 3 days will automatically receive a 50% grade and the student is responsible for coming in to get the correct answers. Every weekday counts for late work. A student can turn in work to me even if s/he does not have my class that day.
There will be a warm up every day students walk into the classroom. I may stamp the warm up after 5 minutes of class time from the time the bell rings. If a student is not finished with the warm up or is tardy, s/he will not receive a stamp and will not receive credit for the warm up that day. Warm ups are counted and included as part of the notebook check grade each six weeks.
